Perez Technology Group Launches its CyberFence Platform for Businesses
Launch of CyberFence Platform Provides
Comprehensive Protection Against Cyber Attacks
Developed to Protect Businesses From Cyber Threats Faced by Remote Workforces, Phishing Scams
Launch Also Features Donation of $25,000 in CyberFence Licenses to Senior Resource Alliance
ORLANDO, Fla. – CyberFence cybersecurity app, a comprehensive cybersecurity app developed for businesses with remote workforces and those who need to remain complaint with requirements like HIPPA, SEC, NIST and others, launched today. The app was created by Orlando-based cybersecurity and managed IT firm Perez Technology Group.
“CyberFence was created due the increase in cyber attacks we have seen globally since the pandemic including here in central Florida, and they are getting more sophisticated with the advent of artificial intelligence,” said CyberFence Founder and Perez Technology CEO Carlos Perez. “Couple that with the fact more businesses have remote workforces and employees connecting into their data from non-secure wi-fi connections, and it became clear businesses needed a holistic approach to cybersecurity to keep their employees and data secured.”
The CyberFence app features a machine learning powered web shield and a premium virtual private network (VPN) connection to encrypt internet traffic.
“While CyberFence is a powerful tool developed for the enterprise customer, it was developed to be user friendly with an easy and intuitive interface so that anyone can use it,” Perez added.
As a result, there are 3 versions available: a Managed Version for businesses, a Pro Version for people who regularly use their phones for transactions and connect to remote wi-fi connections and a Free Version for consumers who want to protect their phone or those of their loved ones – such as children.
As part of the launch, 5,000 licenses of the CyberFence app Pro Version were donated to Senior Resource Alliance, Central Florida’ Area Agency on Aging, to help protect seniors from cyber threats.
“Senior Resource Alliance’s top priority is to protect our seniors – and that includes from the perils of cybercrime – so we’re incredibly grateful to Perez Technology for this generous donation,” said Karla Radka, SRA president and CEO. “Embracing technology is key to our mission of allowing seniors to age independently and safely – but as seniors continue to grow their digital presence, it puts them at greater risk of cyber threats. This app can empower our seniors to navigate the digital landscape safely and securely.”
